Change the world one letter at a time
One morning while browsing through emails as I lay in bed- barely awake, I might add- I came across a message explaining the RAKtivism (activism for random acts of kindness) mission for December. It was here that I first heard of the organization Love for the Elderly.
Love for the Elderly spreads smiles, stories, & sweetness all over the world by distributing anonymous letters to senior citizens.
Anyone can send a letter / card / note. It can be as simple as writing a few encouraging sentences or as elaborate as writing a multi-page letter. There are examples on the organization’s website if you are looking for some inspiration. The key is to have meaning behind what you say. The point is to spread love & kindness. 🙂
Words not only have the power to destroy, but they also have the power to build. Who knows how spending a few minutes writing to a stranger could impact that person’s life?
Please send letters to:

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays & staying warm!
